Just ask the schmuck who dared talk ill to “Iron Mike” a few weeks ago.
When you play stupid games, you get stupid rewards.
Unfortunately, not many understand the “laws of nature” anymore.
Or at the very least read “Lord of the Flies.”
From helicopter parents, to coddling teachers, and everything in between.
When you were a little boy growing up, pre 2000’s (back in the day), you got in fights, you wrestled, you got punched in the face.
Now, there's nothing but gold stars, purple pens instead of red, men in women's bathrooms, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Getting punched in the face is an analogy of life.
Life is completely unfair.
That’s the beauty of it. That’s what makes life interesting.
That’s how we grow and get better.
If there’s no failure there is no joy.
Our parents were right. Those that were lucky enough to have parents who gave them that head start.
Life not about equal outcomes. It's about working your ass off and doing the best with what you've been given.
Whether you have athletic talent, academic talent, musical talent, or no talent at all.
Being punched in the face means that there's a certain level of accountability and responsibility you have in life.
You can't just sit behind a keyboard and peck away at it like a chicken finding its food being a “keyboard warrior.” Thinking there's going to be no problems and no “reactions from your actions.”
Hell hath come your way.
Dare I say this is why there are so many boys who are completely lost and end up shooting their classmates and teachers in schools?
Mind you: This did not happen when our parents and grandparents were growing up.
There was respect for life, even though there may have been bullying.
Kids stopped getting punched in the face and having disagreements and figuring it out on their own.
Now we have crazy gun bills and Marxist/progressive leaders muddied up our lives being the arson (creator of problems that didn’t exist) to only come to our aid with new programs and solutions that exacerbate said problems (firefighter.)
This is a serious problem. The entitlement mentality of doing whatever the hell you want and having ZERO consequences will come to an end.
Mark my words.
I don't know if our country or world has a stomach for it.
Quite honestly. My worry is that this will certainly get worse before it gets better.
More civil unrest and violence is coming.
History has shown us this time and again as empires move down this road.
Its generally the route humans take.
I'm guilty myself. We're all subject to thinking, “maybe if I just keep going a little further things will get better without me having to change.”
The easy way out.
But that's almost never the case. The solutions generally lie in massive change.
Whether it's eating different, exercising more, eating less, sleeping better, drinking less alcohol, quitting smoking, etc..
Treating others better treating yourself better, studying more, being more accountable for your actions.
These are all symptoms of a person taking action and making changes in their life instead of advocating for “policy change” in their lives to mask the hard work of changing themselves.
Be prepared.
Body, Mind, Soul.
The more independent we are the less we need government dependence in our lives.
Stay strong and Godspeed,
Brandon
