Broken money breaking people
I was told recently of a friend who has been dealing with mental health issues and has been caught up very much in what the governments are doing to people.
What the culture is doing to people.
The hypnosis that people are under on a daily basis.
And the seemingly no way to change the direction of humanity hurling itself toward the fiery inferno.
Depression or other disorders can be extremely tough to deal with.
I am by no means an expert but it got me thinking about all the different times in my life when I felt down or depressed.
What did I do to effect change and turn things around?
Simple and easy action items are the best from everything I have seen or learned from others in the space.
Start immediately:
Exercising - (walking at minimum and hopefully lifting weights.) This may be one of the single best things you can do to help lift yourself out of despair.
Eat well - Most fast food and anything on the inside aisles of the grocery store is filled with processed junk like seed oils and high fructose corn syrup. Two of the worst things you can put in your body. Start eating fresh and local food. Meet your rancher. Your diet is worth every penny.
Drink water - You have to drink at minimum 64-100oz of water each day. Flush your body of its toxins and recharge. I tried experimenting when I was playing college hockey with drinking water before workouts and not drinking any beforehand. The difference when you hydrate is off the scales.
Get routine consistent sleep - try going to bed and getting up at same time and get at to bed at least 2 hours before midnight. They say MOST important hours to sleep are 10-2am. AND every hour of sleep before midnight is worth 2 hours of sleep. Wish I would have known those when I was young…
Get in the sun/vitamin D - take vitamins if you have to in a cloudy place in the winter. This helps fight hundreds of sicknesses.
Read creative books - this jogs your minds and gets endorphins and positivity going.
Pray/Meditate - center yourself and ask for help. Don’t just talk, you must be willing to listen.
Hang with better people who lift you up - you are the average of the people you converse with and hang out with. Who are you putting in your life and I will show you what kind of person you will be. Be the gatekeeper of your mind.
Write down goals - this triggers the brain in to hear and if you create small goals you can check them off and trigger dopamine in the brain and get you on the positive side of life.
I tested all of this over the past 20 years of my life playing at the highest levels of hockey and running businesses.
Mental health is a massive issue that is not going away any time soon.
Th espied crisis has only magnified what is going on and I don’t think any of us truly know the effect it will have on us or a nation in the coming decades.
This is why I am such a big advocate of having a mission by finding your calling in life.
I hated and I mean hated school because it was so robotic.
School made no sense to me.
I fought with teachers and professors all the time and asked why we weren’t learning every day skills of life?
No one could ever answer me and deep down I knew…
They didn’t know, and the state didn’t want them to know.
A people dependent on the state create a powerful and necessary ruing class.
An independent and resilient people have little use for government.
A broken money is what allows for the theft of your wealth (through inflation) and gives the government the veil to redistribute that back on to the groups of distressed people or businesses or initiatives they see fit.
Stay strong,
