(Listen to audio version of me reading👆)
We used to have a mantra in America, “no man left behind.”
That was a culture that permeated not only throughout the military, but the country as well.
It was a culture. A mindset. An attitude.
Americans would protect human life wherever and whenever we could.
We have a hard time valuing life now, not only in this world, but now sadly in this country.
We easily discard life.
This is a rough topic but I believe one that needs to be had, for the soul.
Lack of respect for life because of investing choices?
If I know what I am investing in is funding a company thats actively destroying culture and destroying people in the society, then I CANNOT do it.
I am putting short-term profits and idolizing money over what God (nature) wants done.
Me and my kids and grandkids are going to grow up in the long-term suffering the consequences of those actions.
The blood is on my hands.
Might FEEL good in the short term to make 13% dividend on JEPI (like some mentors of mine suggested recently) but I cannot do it because they invest in companies that are destroying culture.
Companies like Coca-Cola who go woke and hurt children short term and then sell products that destroy people physically long term.
CANNOT DO IT.
Real estate investors selling their soul?
Many real estate or self storage investors I know around the country try to rehab big commercial properties and then sell them to hedge funds.
Most of the companies and hedge funds like BlackRock are so far up the World Economic Forum’s “you know what” they can’t tell what time of day it is.
Short term profits over long term health. Everyone has their price I guess…
I am only human. I pray that I have no price.
Putting homeowners on the street
We recently had a home owner who came to us looking to sell his home. He needs the cash bad and is in serious debt.
His answers made no sense when I asked him where he would be living after we bought it…he said maybe a hotel…said “some guys would take care of him, and “he trusted them.”
Nope, CANNOT do it.
Even though it would have been an amazing deal for us, losing part of your soul isn’t worth it.
Schools absolutely lose their mind
Now I was just told of a client of my wife’s who says that her teenage daughter has friends at school that talk about suicide all the time, the teachers tell students not to confide in their parents about “gender questions”, and pills are regular topics of conversation in the hallways.
What in the world is going on?
The real question is not now, but what does life look like in 10-20 years when these kids are out in the real world working and with families?
The choices we make now have serious ramifications on our children and the world they grow up in.
If we don’t value life then everything else becomes basically a moot point.
I cannot support a culture of evil, violence, mob rule, death, secularism, post-modernism or moral relativism.
I will stand for the truth, always.
There is truth and there always will be.
If you stand for God’s Laws/Nature’s Laws/Generalized or First Principles then you cannot go astray.
I cannot invest in certain things “just to get ahead.”
I cannot work for someone or some entity if they are promoting a demented culture or promoting an unhealthy lifestyle.
This will come back to haunt us.
It already is…look around you. Do you truly in your heart of hearts like what you see? Do you like what culture has become? Do you think we will be better off 10 years from now with the young learning this psychosis in schools?
Evil will persist if good people stand by idle and silent.
Change is said to happen at either the ballot box or the ammo box.
However, we can vote with our feet. We can leave the city, the state, or the country and move to places that respect people better.
We can vote with our wallets and give to charities or companies that are promoting true health, not “woke” health or culture.
The short term mindset has been handed to us by a secular culture that stands for literally nothing.
If you stand for nothing, you will fall for anything. This is precisely where we find ourselves.
I know where I stand.
I will not (to the best of my ability) give to companies that promote division, hate, cancelling, “wokeness”, or secularism. People trying to destroy our culture through fake ESG or climate initiatives or CRT programs in schools. These initiatives seek to divide and conquer.
If you question this, please go back and read or watch any of the other content I have done about the ramifications of inflation and currency printing on society.
Our Founder’s warned against it and our enemies have brought it here and brought our culture to its knees.
Our children are suffering, suicide rates and legal and illegal drug use is through the roof, homelessness continues to rise out of control, and the average person can barely afford gas, food, and a roof over their heads.
You tell me where this is headed?
We are hurting too much as it is, and it is going to get worse as the cake has already been baked.
Time to get resilient and put your money where you mouth is…
Stop the elites in their tracks with the spending bills, currency printing, and insane private deals they are doing in backrooms.
Bitcoin and its scarcity truly fixes the elites and puts them in their place. Much of the culture rot starts going away once the elites cannot silently steal your wealth through inflation.
I realize I am a broken record, however THIS is why bitcoin is so important.
Forget trying to get wealthy off of it….thats the least interesting part.
The best thing bitcoin does is replaces artificial with reality. It keeps the powers in check.
I will not put future generations at risk, my kids, and grandkids, because I wanted short term gain and “what felt good now.”
Stay very strong,
Brandon
Really good newsletter. JEPI is an interesting play, but don't know a ton about it yet.
As far as Blackrock & Vanguard go, I had my 1st Advisory client today tell me they don't want to hold their funds (Although truthfully, I thought this would come a lot sooner).
You're right, ESG is a sham.. We should have "anti-woke" model portfolios to combat it .
Disclaimer: I am not personally that hardcore; I own both Black Rock & Vanguard funds (along with State St, Invesco, Schwab, and a few others)
